FAQs (2011)

Who can participate?
  • All Indian / Multi-National organizations with a registered Indian address and who conduct business / have operations in India are permitted to participate in the awards
  • Participants need to complete the nomination form based on their projects executed in India, in the event they have operations both in and outside India
  • Participants could nominate projects that they would have executed individually or as a part of a consortium

Is it possible to submit a project that is still not complete?
  • Only completed projects or a phase within a project that has met the objectives it was intended to meet when commissioned would be considered. The completed project or phase must be functional

Is it possible to submit entries across multiple categories?
  • Yes, all organizations may submit entries across multiple categories; however the project must fulfill the respective category definitions

Is it necessary to submit supporting documents? What are the documents required?
  • Yes. The award nomination should be accompanied by a CD containing information in the form of photos (.jpg, .gif, .tiff, .bmp format) / videos (.mpeg, .avi, .wma format) or valid documents that may aid in supporting the application

Is it possible to submit multiple entries within the same category?
  • Each company can submit as many nominations as it desires for the projects completed within India by them in the last five years for consideration in the Main Award Categories

Methodology (2011)

The Essar Steel Infrastructure Excellence Awards in association with CNBC TV18 aim to capture spectacular company and individual performances and honor these entities for their tremendous efforts.

By submitting the completed nomination form, companies are free to showcase as many projects as they desire for the awards across the eight Main Award Categories. Each company can additionally submit a nomination in each of the six Special Award Categories.

Shortlisted nominations would be presented to an independent Jury consisting of eminent panelists. The selected winners will be announced at the Final Awards Night.

The Essar Steel Infrastructure Excellence Awards in association with CNBC TV18 jointly initiated by E18 and Essar Steel are the biggest Infrastructure Awards in the country.
